Incorrect Enter Key Behavior in VIM Insert Mode for Prompt Submission

Question

**Bug Description**
Pressing enter (carriage return) while in VIM INSERT mode submits the prompt. I would expect enter to insert a newline while in VIM INSERT mode. I would expect to exit the INSERT mode to be able to submit the prompt.
