[BUG] https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/1297 is closed but still the problem persists

What's Wrong?

Claude changes the terminal settings on MacOS against may will effectively making it unuseable since i can not even type { any more

What Should Happen?

Claude should never change keyboard settings. This is a major intrusion and will undermine all trust in this software immediately.
Worse is that you claimed the bug was fixed by closing it. This makes the issue being more severe since your bug handling procedure is also not adequate for making sure user feedback is taking seriously further undermining the necessary trust.

install claude on a mac with german keyboard. Try typing { there after. Find out about the bug and get frustrated.
