[Feature Request] Add lifecycle hooks for Plan Mode and Accept All Edits completion

Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Feb 11, 2026 by noahlz Closed Feb 11, 2026

Feature Description
I have a custom instruction in my user-level CLAUDE.md to run the say command after long-running turns.

Specifically, when it finishes a Plan mode ("Ready to code?" with the plan displayed), I have it say "Plan ready for review." Likewise, when I implement the plan with "Accept all edits" enabled, I have it say "Implementation complete"

However, Claude does not always follow these instructions. Having specific hooks for PlanModeComplete and AcceptEditsComplete (rather than just Stop which is too general), would enable Claude to execute this behavior consistently and remove several lines of crucial context from my CLAUDE.md file.
