[BUG] Memory Consumption Immediately Spikes to ~10 GiB after Startup

What's Wrong?

Seconds after invoking claude and any prompt, memory usages spikes to around 10 GiB and freezes my system. This happens even with command prompts like /config.

Claude code should not consume giga-bytes of memory on simple commands.
