Fast mode disabled · extra usage temporarily unavailable

Fast mode toggle (/fast) appears to accept the command and shows the confirmation message (↯ Fast mode ON), but the mode doesn't actually persist or take effect. Toggling repeatedly doesn't resolve it.

Steps to reproduce

1. Run /fast in Claude Code CLI
2. Observe confirmation message appears
3. Subsequent responses still use standard mode

Expected behavior

Fast mode should engage and remain active after toggling on.
