[BUG] Claude Code desktop app does not reflect the correct branch in the UI

What's Wrong?

I see this UI in Claude Code. It is helpful only if it reflects the correct branch that I'm on. Unfortunately, it does not, at least not unless I hard refresh the app. Then it displays the correct branch.

Can this be fixed to display the correct branch when I checkout different branches?

What Should Happen?

The UI in Claude Code desktop app should display the correct branch I'm on.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Pull down a git repo.
2. Create a new branch and check it out.
3. Observe the UI does not update to show the new branch name.
