/insights report only captures a fraction of sessions and projects

Description

The /insights command generates a report that only captures a small subset of actual usage data. In my case, it reports 923 sessions over 18 days (2025-12-29 to 2026-02-05), but I've been using Claude Code for much longer across many more projects.

Details

  • The report only analyzed 4 facets (session groups)
  • I have 9 registered projects under ~/.claude/projects/:
  • bclever-inventory
  • flow-invoice
  • mi-entorno
  • scrapworld-dashboard
  • sw26-platform
  • beers (+ a worktree)
  • scouting-prebenjamin-madrid
  • Home directory
  • The report only mentions work on Comercia (bclever-inventory), FlowInvoice, and a validation/scanner feature — completely missing scrapworld-dashboard, sw26-platform, beers, scouting-prebenjamin-madrid, and others.

Expected behavior

/insights should capture and analyze all available session data across all projects, or at minimum clearly indicate that the report is partial and explain why.

Environment

  • macOS (Darwin 25.2.0)
  • Claude Code CLI
