[BUG] Unable to use claude. Starts, hangs, doesn't respond.

What's Wrong?

i run: claude in my terminal. claude begins. the app is unresponsive, typing does nothing, cursor doesn't blink, i must force kill. repeat

claude should work. i pay $100/month and can't use it.

it worked once after i ran doctor. logs show compound engineering makes 70 api requests that may freeze node.
