- Claude CLI version: 1.0.29
- Operating System: macOS 15.5
- Terminal: iTerm2
Bug Description
I'm running into an issue where Claude Code keeps crashing whenever it tries to edit markdown files. This has happened twice now, specifically when it attempts to update README.md.
Actual Behavior
- I'm in the middle of a Claude Code session
- Claude tries to edit a .md file (in this case, README.md)
- Shows a prompt asking if I want to make the edit
- Before I can even respond, Claude Code throws a timeout error and completely exits the session

Just wanted to add that I've run into this issue multiple times now, and it's happening with all
.mdfiles, not just specific ones. Every time I try to edit any markdown file, Claude Code crashes with the same timeout error before I can even make changes.Having the exact same issue
