What's Wrong?

Any invocation of Claude at the command line simply triggers a re-display of its initial greeting and then nothing. You're just dumped back to the command line. Your instructions are never processed.

Install Claude on Windows with the PowerShell-based instructions here: https://code.claude.com/docs/en/setup
Add the claude executable to your system path, since the installer neglects to do so.
Run a Claude command at the command line.
