[Feature Request] Add hotkey to copy buffered prompt to clipboard with whitespace normalization
Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Feb 3, 2026 by zees-dev Closed Feb 6, 2026
Bug Description
I would like there to be a simple hotkey or command which can be used to copy the currently buffered prompt to my clipboard.
An issue I commonly face is that when I need to edit a large prompt, I copy the prompt manually, naively, by highlighting the text then copy/pasting into IDE. this approach also copies all the redundant white space, which I need to clean up manually.
It would be much simpler if the currently buffered prompt could be copied as is, with the white space cleaned up.
