[BUG] `/cost` using up Haiku tokens and credits for no reason

Bug Description

/cost is using up Haiku tokens in the background for no apparent reason, and just a few commands add up to thousands of input tokens and $0.01:

Steps to Reproduce

1. /cost
2. /cost
3. /cost

Expected Behavior

/cost shouldn't cost tokens/credits and there's no reason to use so many input tokens in the background AND to bill them on the user.

Actual Behavior

The opposite of the above
