[Bug] Claude Code amends previous commit without user confirmation

Bug Description
I made some changes and used commit this to make a commit. I did NOT push the commit, I never let Claude Code do git commit/push automatically. Then I made another change and Claude Code amended the previous commit without asking. This is clearly unacceptable behaviour.
