[Bug] Chrome extension connection failed after reinstall

Bug Description
chrome/claude connection not working, but:

  • i removed/reinstalled the Chrome extension 1.0.40 (latest build)
  • on Chrome 144.0.7559.97 arm64 (latest update), Mac Tahoe 26.2
  • with Claude Code 2.1.19 (latest update). Restarted computer. Checked permissions. I don't understand how to debug that.

/chrome seems fine
