[Windows] Image drag-and-drop stops working after some time in session

Description

Image drag-and-drop functionality stops working after using Claude Code for a while. It works correctly immediately after starting the CLI, but at some point during the session, it stops accepting dropped images.

Environment

• Claude Code version: 2.1.19
• OS: Windows
• Terminal: Windows Terminal
• Display: Dual 4K monitors

Steps to reproduce

1. Start Claude Code in Windows Terminal
2. Drag and drop an image - works fine
3. Continue using Claude Code for some time
4. Try to drag and drop an image again - no longer works

Expected behavior

Drag and drop should continue to work throughout the session.

Actual behavior

Drag and drop stops working at some point. The exact trigger is unknown.

Workaround

• Restarting Claude Code restores the functionality
• Not yet confirmed if /clear helps

Additional context

• No error message is displayed when drag and drop fails
• The terminal is NOT running as administrator
