[BUG] Drag and Drop broken in 2.1.6 (VS Code Extension)

What's Wrong?

After updating to version 2.1.6, drag and drop no longer functions correctly. The visual feedback (drag preview, drop target highlighting) works as expected, but the dropped content does not appear in the text input field.
