[BUG] Ctrl+G external editor (neovim) breaks Shift+Enter shortcut on exit

What's Wrong?

When exiting from the external editor, the shift+enter shortcut no longer works. Only option+enter works.

What Should Happen?

<kbd>Shift</kbd>+<kbd>Enter</kbd> shortcut should work

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start a Claude Code conversation in iTerm2
  2. Hit <kbd>Ctrl</kbd>+<kbd>G</kbd> to open the neovim
  3. Exit the neovim
  4. Symptom: <kbd>Shift</kbd>+<kbd>Enter</kbd> does not work.
