[BUG] EDIT: "-dangerously-skip-permissions" launches debug mode and is hard to track down

Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
When I launch claude -dangerously-skip-permissions, it enters "Debug mode" (shown with yellow text in status line) and does not allow to actually bypass permissions. This started after a recent update, I believe - and when I ask Claude about it, it tells me that there is no "Debug mode" which is rather frustrating.
What Should Happen?
It should not enter that mode unprompted - or when it does, at least explain why (e.g. in /doctor?) and how to get out of it.
