Feature Request

Use Case: Users accumulate hundreds of conversations over time. Many become obsolete (test chats, abandoned threads, duplicates). Currently, deletion requires opening each conversation individually and deleting one-by-one.

Problem:

  • No multi-select capability in conversation list
  • No batch delete operation
  • Users with 200+ conversations face tedious manual cleanup
  • No way to filter/sort conversations for bulk operations
  • Conversation list becomes unmanageable over time

Proposed Solution:
Add batch operations to the Claude.ai conversation list:

  1. Checkbox selection mode (select all / select some)
  2. Batch delete selected conversations
  3. Optional: Filter by date range before selection
  4. Optional: Search within conversation list
  5. Confirmation dialog showing count before permanent deletion

Benefit:

  • Reduces conversation management from hours to minutes
  • Enables users to maintain organized chat history
  • Supports privacy cleanup (remove sensitive conversations)
  • Improves UX for power users

Related: Issue #18412 (Bulk export) - these features complement each other for full conversation lifecycle management.
