[Bug] CLI process hangs during extended agentic operations

Bug Description
whatever you've done to this new version that's just burning through tokens and has an inability now to carry on with anything you can't leave it a few minutes and it's stopped and Then you come back and ask it to carry on
even says here that it got caught up no it stopped it had absolutely stopped that 1 minute 27 seconds that's there that was 20 minutes ago
