[BUG] Error: File has been unexpectedly modified. Read it again before attempting to write it. Continuation of #7443 - it's still happening

What's Wrong?

I keep getting "Error: File has been unexpectedly modified. Read it again before attempting to write it."

It's a duplicate of an existing issue (#7443) which was closed, so I cannot write there that I'm affected too

(I'm forced to click "I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet" - this is not correct, I cannot post without clicking it)

What Should Happen?

Claude Code should be able to use the edit tool to successfully edit the file without having to use echo/sed/etc
