[BUG] Installing with native installed on a new Mac laptop fails saying another installation in progress

What's Wrong?
I created a new Claude Pro account. When I try to do the native installer I get an error that another installation is in progress. I used the Claude chatbot and the support chat and they suggested doing a lot of force cleans, but I still get same error.

What Should Happen?
I would expect the installation to complete and let me authorize to my Claude account.

Same issue here. Seems to be tied to 2.1.0...

I tried to use -s stable. But that resulted in an installation that says successful but there was no binary actually installed!!!

Downgrading to 2.0.75 has helped on MacOS
curl -fsSL https://claude.ai/install.sh | bash -s 2.0.75 --forceI looked at all the 3 possible duplicates. I tried the suggestions in them and they did not work for me. Those issues are closed or closed as duplicate. I am still hitting the issue.
