[BUG] Clicking in the 'Ask Claude...' input control does not set focus

What's Wrong?

I'm running Claude Code inside Visual Code on Windows. When I ALT+TAB to teh Visual Code window and then click in the 'Ask Claude...' input field it does NOT set focus to that input field. You have to click a second time. This is very frustrating.

What Should Happen?

The first time you click in the 'Ask Claude...' input control it should set focus th that control. You should NOT have to click a second time

Steps to Reproduce

1. ALT+TAB to Visual Code
2. Click in the 'Ask Claude...' input control. Notice focus is NOT set to the input control
3. Click a second time in teh input control. Now focus is set.
