[Feature Request] Agent resumption tracking and history management

Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Dec 29, 2025 by mriechers Closed Jan 2, 2026

Bug Description
Feature: Agent resumption tracking

When using specialized agents via the Task tool (like custom agents defined in .claude/agents/), it would be helpful to have:

  1. A way to list recently-used agents: /agents --recent
  2. A command to resume the last instance of a named agent: /resume-agent dreamer
  3. Or integrate agent history into the existing /resume session picker

Use case: When working with a "brainstorming" agent across multiple sessions, being able to resume with context intact (without manually tracking agent IDs) would make agent-heavy workflows much smoother.
