[BUG] No subagents available in 'claude mcp serve'

What's Wrong?

Running claude mcp serve, it seems that there are no agents available at all. Whatever subagent type I set, i get:

"Agent type 'general-purpose' not found. Available agents:"

I.e. the agent list is empty.

What Should Happen?

At least the default agents should be available.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Run npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector npx -y @anthropic-ai/claude-code mcp serve
2. Connect
3. Try launching a task with any kind of input in the subagent_type field
