[BUG] Hitting usage limits after 2 hours

Environment

• Claude CLI version: 1.0.6 / 5x Max
• Operating System: macOS 15.5
• Terminal: JetBrains PyCharm 2025.1.1.1

Bug Description

I hit rate limits after only 2 hours of routine activity

Steps to Reproduce

1. Happened after 4 hours of routine activity
2. Happened after 2 additional hours of routine activity

Expected Behavior

1. Didn't expect that kind of limitation
2. Fairly simple changes seemed to generate quite high token usage
3. /cost output ("No need to monitor cost") seems to be deceptive
4. No way to judge whether this limitation is a bug or a rational reflection of what I had asked to be done
5. Model selection -- Model selection message seems to say that if Opus rates are used up, a switch to Sonnet would occur, but it doesn't seem to.
