Bug Description
When I run claude code from within Cursor, on Linux, either via the extension or via the integrated terminal, it opens 3 more instances of Cursor

I’m experiencing the same issue.
Also, the plugin installation fails to complete correctly.

I’m using mise, which might be related to this issue.
I added
"npm:@anthropic-ai/claude-code" = "latest"to my.config/mise/config.tomlbefore installing.Manually installing the VSIX from
~/.local/share/mise/installs/npm-anthropic-ai-claude-code/1.0.3/lib/node_modules/@anthropic-ai/claude-code/vendor/claude-code.vsixallowed it to work correctly.Had the same issue with claude-code installed via pnpm (1.0.3). After I made local installation (1.0.6), the problem is gone (the guide was in
/doctorcommand in claude (if you are in the claude code and type/doctor).The latest version has fixed this issue for me as well.
