[Bug] Agent hangs during long-running tasks requiring manual interrupt

Bug Description
When running long tasks (e.g., e2e tests using playwright) sometimes the agent hangs and can remain "running" for hours if not stopped. If I press "Esc" then prompt it to keep looking, it works alright.
