[BUG] When background Bash process completes, prompt editor is cleared, loosing partially entered prompt!

When background Bash process completes, prompt editor is cleared, loosing partially entered prompt!

What Should Happen?

Prompt is left alone

Steps to Reproduce

1. Have it start a background task
2. Start typing in the prompt
3. When background task ends, prompt is gone!
