Bug Description
Claude codes terminal instances keep shutting down silently they dont continue working on their tasks since yesterday after a while (a few minutes to 30minutes)
the only solution for now is starting a new instance and use /resume

even when replying with a new prompt the claude code thread is stale
I'm seeing the same behavior. But I can reproduce it very easily. If I have one Claude Code CLI session running in one terminal, and start another Claude Code CLI session in another terminal, simply by typing
claudeto start the TUI, all other Claude Code CLI sessions immediately stop working. Pressing escape and trying to send a message results in no response and the new message not making it to the Claude Code instance. The only way to resolve this is to quit the broken Claude Code instance and starting a new one, which in turn causes the second Claude Code instance to stop working.This behavior results in only a single Claude Code instance to be allowed to run at a time!
