[BUG] Using something other than Mac Shell (terminal) causes notifications to spawn a terminal window

What's Wrong?

When I do something with notifications enabled, the beep comes from a newly spawn terminal window rather than the existing terminal window (using Core Shell, for example) on Mac.

What Should Happen?

It should beep in the current window.
