Type of Behavior Issue

Claude ignored my instructions or configuration

What You Asked Claude to Do

Document technology decisions for a project after discussing them. Specifically, I stated Square was my primary
payment processor (the service I personally use) and my first priority. Claude understood and suggested adding
Stripe as a secondary option. I agreed to Square + Stripe for v1.0, with PayPal for v1.1.

What Claude Actually Did

Created documentation stating "Stripe (primary) + PayPal (secondary)" - completely omitting Square despite it
being my explicitly stated #1 requirement that Claude actively participated in discussing and refining.

Expected Behavior

Documentation should reflect the actual decisions discussed, not assumptions based on "industry standards." When a user explicitly states a requirement and Claude participates in refining it, the recorded output should match
what was agreed upon.
