[Bug] Severe UI lag and input freezing on ARM64 Windows after recent updates

Bug Description
Last updates seem to have messed up something, the UI is extremely slow. You type and it doesn’t get updated until much later (often >20s). It feels stuck almost all the time. As soon as the chat grows a bit, the UI becomes practically unusable at least on this PC (Surface running Snapdragon, ARM64 Windows). It was working perfectly before; occasional UI stalls happened but not nearly as often. Now, after just a few messages, it becomes almost impossible to use. I have to hit ESC many times just to be able to type something back to the agent, and because everything is stuck I don’t even know where the conversation is at that moment.

Errors
I’m seeing repeated AxiosError: timeout of 5000ms exceeded errors from the @anthropic-ai/claude-code CLI. Full JSON error logs are available, but the auto-generated /bug URL tried to embed them and became too long/invalid, so I can attach them as a comment or gist instead.
