[Bug] Terminal output flickering/jumping on macOS across IDE and native terminals

Bug Description
The text in the terminal window jumps rapidly to top and back down repeatedly and violently at a pace that makes it impossible to read or figure out what's going on. Ths happens inside IDE terminals like Goland, as well as in normal terminal windows on multiple MacOS machines
