[Bug] Chat window jumps to top and flashes on Ubuntu/Linux

Bug Description
Claude keeps flashing and skipping to the top of the chat in Ubuntu25/linux. It's been doing this for a while but it's making things unbearable. I have to hit ctrl-end for a short term soltuion WHEN i'm lucky.
