[Bug] Excessive latency in URL unfurling operations causing 30+ minute hangs

Bug Description
very slow last two days
all tasks like this (online) - ✶ Unfurling… (esc to interrupt · 32m 31s · ↓ 999 tokens)
and time can be to 2 hours
