[Feature Request] Add user preferences for output formatting and local history management
Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Nov 1, 2025 by mcint Closed Nov 5, 2025
Bug Description
I would like to have some preferences that I can explicit set, unique to me. The format of the claude form---clarifying multiple choice with freeform answer available--seems useful--too many custom instructions that might hide model & claude-code improvements over time.
I appreciate the [do-verbose] | grep ... pattern claude has picked up, but
- I want
[do-verbose] | [log-with-timestamp/autoincrement] | grep. - Similarly, I want plans output into perhaps a project-local .claude or .claude/history directory to priviledge those bits of conversation trace that can be valuable promoted to the status of artifact, at least a minor, local one.
