[BUG] Hours lost when Claude code forgot the plan

What's Wrong?

I spent hours designing a new interface for a major refactoring with CC in planning mode. We broke it up into relatively small Phase 1 preparatory change and Phase 2 implementation of new API/implementation. After many compactions and hours of work we get through Phase 1. Claude then has zero memory of Phase 2 or anything about the plan. How is it possible that it gave me this super detailed plan with steps that it makes me agree to and approve and then it doesn't stash it anywhere?!?

What Should Happen?

It should remember the plan!
