What's Wrong?

How is this better? what am i misunderstanding about output styles and session start hooks? what if i already use session start hooks? were they session start hooks under the hood? if so why do i need another plugin for that instead of a file i had in .claude with my .md? something about this isnt making any sense.

I had zero issues with code generation with output styles and if anything improved performance and my experience with them. This is not a problem that needed solving....

What Should Happen?

I should be able to use output styles as you originally implemented or this should be an optional setting to use the proposed change
