[Feature Request] Add pause state for background sessions with resume/stop options
Bug Description
I feel like you currently have the ability to stop and start sessions including background sessions, and you are also able to resume sessions. Consider implementing a more holistic state of "pause". A paused background session has been stopped but there is an implied user intent to either unpause (resume) or stop (commit to ending) a session. One approach might simply be to re-frame 'stop' as 'paused' at that point there is more of an implied "inventory of things that are paused" and an implied "you should empty the inventory" so this is really a UX direction based decision (session inventory defaulting pause vs session inventory defaulting to stop).
