Feature request: show context-window usage in the Claude desktop app (Code tab)
Where: Claude desktop app (Windows), Code tab, the usage popup at the bottom-right of the composer.
What happens now: The usage popup shows the session limit, the weekly limit and cloud session credits. It does not show the current conversation's context usage (tokens used / context window size).
Why this is a problem: After running /compact I could not tell whether compaction actually reduced the context. The only ways to see the number today are /context or a custom statusline in the terminal CLI. The desktop app does not show either of them.
Request: Add a context line to that popup (for example Context: 123K / 1M (12%)), or show the number as a hover tooltip on the small ring next to the effort selector.
