[BUG] Desktop app: /btw freezes in a remote session that has already ended

In the Claude desktop app (Code tab, macOS), running /btw in a remote session that has already been closed/ended freezes the session. No side answer comes back, no error is shown, and the UI hangs.
Steps to reproduce
- Start a remote session (Remote Control / a session running on another machine) from the desktop app.
- Close/end that remote session (or let the remote host disconnect).
- Open the ended session in the desktop app and type
/btw <any question>.
Expected
Either the /btw side question gets answered (it only needs the existing transcript), or the app shows a clear message such as "This remote session has ended — /btw is unavailable" with an option to resume.
Actual
The session freezes. There is no response, error or way to recover except navigating away.
