Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

The Routines entry in the left sidebar of Claude Desktop disappeared today (Oct 15, 2026). It was there earlier the same day. Scheduled tasks are now only reachable through the "Scheduled" page, with no way to see them directly in the sidebar.

Environment

  • Claude Desktop 2.37337.1 (ba51ab), built Oct 13, 2026
  • Windows

Notes

  • The app version did not change when the panel disappeared, so this may be a server-side flag change rather than a client update.
  • Same symptoms as #60473, which was auto-closed by the bot as a duplicate of #54668. That issue is a different bug (tasks missing inside the Routines panel, not the panel itself missing), and #60473 is now locked.

What Should Happen?

Routines visible in the left sidebar as before, or a setting to show it there.
