[Bug] Claude Code session in Ghostty consumes all 16GB RAM and freezes machine

Bug Description
My Claude Code session in Ghostty keeps on consuming all 16GB of my RAM. It frequently freezes my machine and requires using Force Quit to close Ghostty and restart the session. I can't walk away from my Claude Code session and be sure that it won't be frozen when I get back.
