[BUG] Claude Desktop (Windows): after the combined Chat + Cowork update, "Archive" is missing from the session menu and Scheduled tasks lost their own sidebar section (Code tab unaffected)

What's Wrong?

The regression is limited to the combined Chat + Cowork view of Claude Desktop. The Code tab is unaffected.

About a week ago (around Oct 7-8, 2026) the "Archive" action disappeared from the right-click menu of Cowork/chat sessions. I can no longer archive any of them.

Cowork/chat session menu now shows: Open in new window, Pin, Mark as unread, Rename, Add to project, Move to group, Delete.

The Code tab session menu still shows Archive (Open in, Pin, Rename, Fork, Move to group, Archive, Delete). So the action still exists in the app but is not offered for Cowork/chat sessions.

In the same period, scheduled tasks stopped having their own column/section in the sidebar. They are now mixed into the same list as my daily sessions.

Impact: I use Cowork daily with many sessions and scheduled tasks. I need to move finished sessions out of the active list without deleting them. Delete is the only removal option left, and I do not want to delete history.

Possible links (unconfirmed): changelog v2.31226.0 (Oct 8) introduced Unified Claude (beta), which merges Chat and Cowork in one sidebar. The timing matches and Code is unaffected, so the combined view is the most likely source. The changelog does not mention removing Archive or merging scheduled tasks into the main list. Related but different: #91194 (cloud sessions with no Archive or Delete in the menu), #94724 (manual archive fails for sessions of an archived project).

Note: this is the Claude Desktop app, not the CLI. App version 2.31226.1, Windows.

What Should Happen?

Archive should be available in the Cowork/chat session menu, as it was before and as it still is in the Code tab, so finished sessions can be moved out of the active list without deleting them. Scheduled tasks should be listed in their own sidebar section.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Claude Desktop (Windows) with the combined Chat + Cowork view.
2. Right-click (or open the "..." menu of) any Cowork/chat session in the sidebar.
3. The menu has no Archive action (Open in new window, Pin, Mark as unread, Rename, Add to project, Move to group, Delete only).
4. Open the Code tab and right-click a Code session: Archive is present.
5. Scheduled tasks are listed in the same sidebar list as regular sessions instead of their own section.
