What's Wrong?

I think this may be more of a documentation issue than anything. I've been having the persistent problem of being able to log into claude max from the terminal (or from cursor/vscode). I remembered that prior I had had an OSX keychain problem when running in tmux, and tried logging in from a terminal without tmux, and bam, it worked. Something in tmux appears to interfere with OSX's ability to handle certain keychain operations.

What Should Happen?

Claude should be able to log in when using tmux on osx, or should detect that it can't access the keychain and report to the user that it can't log in on osx if running in tmux
