JetBrains (PyCharm/IntelliJ): add an official graphical chat panel
Claude is one of the best coding models I use, but two product gaps are actively pushing me away from using it in JetBrains.
JetBrains needs a proper graphical Claude Code experience. A terminal tab is not enough. Please provide an official side-panel/chat UI with rendered Markdown, code blocks, diffs, history, and the same level of usability available in VS Code.
Claude Code should authenticate cleanly with a Claude Pro subscription. If I already pay for Pro, I should be able to use that subscription directly in the CLI and JetBrains workflow without relying on JetBrains AI or workarounds.
These are not minor polish issues — they directly affect whether Claude becomes my default coding assistant.
The model is already good enough. The UX is now the bottleneck.
