Problem Statement

Desktop app: let “Archive inactive sessions” skip grouped, pinned, and unread sessions

The current setting archives any session that has been idle for a set number of days. I organize sessions into sidebar groups and pin the ones I care about, so this setting would archive the sessions I most want to keep. I’d like it to skip anything that is in a group, pinned, or still marked unread.

Why it matters: I had about 400 sessions in my sidebar. The app got slow, with animations freezing and replies appearing a few seconds after the “done” notification, even after a fresh restart. Archiving old sessions is the fix, but I can’t turn on auto-archive without losing sessions I’ve filed on purpose.
