[BUG] Claude Code cannot read https://developer.android.com

What's Wrong?

When Claude Code tries to read https://developer.android.com, it only sees sidebars, etc., and not the content. Claude Code itself told me that the website uses JavaScript to dynamically load the content, and the Claude Code tool cannot render it.

I asked GitHub Copilot (with the Sonnet model), and it could read the site without issue.

I had this issue for months.

What Should Happen?

The Claude Code's web tool (I don't know what it's called) should be able to read https://developer.android.com and similar websites. GitHub Copilot can.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Claude Code, and give it this prompt:

Can you read this page? https://developer.android.com/reference/kotlin/androidx/glance/appwidget/GlanceAppWidget?hl=en Just quickly check it and reply to me. No need to explore more.

It answered me:

I couldn't read the page's content. The fetch returned only the site navigation and the AndroidX package index. It was cut off before the GlanceAppWidget class section, so I have nothing on its constructor, functions, properties, size modes or state definitions.
