Problem Statement

Sometimes when I'm working with Claude Code, the conversion goes on long, and there is a long wall of text. The conversion is still relevant, so I don't want to use /clear to clear the conversation, but Ctrl+L doesn't work when Claude Code is launched in the terminal.
Control-L and Command-K work perfectly fine in a terminal, but when an instance of Claude Code is launched, and I use Control-L or Command-K, nothing happens. This is very annoying.

Proposed Solution

I would like Ctrl+L to clear the screen and not have to use the /clear command to clear the entire conversation. I'm observing this issue in the terminal app and Ghostty app in macOS.
